We're leaving Mojave after a later than we wanted start and a on the fly dog rescue. Someone dumped this adorable puppy and it followed us. Art, who we met at the post office took the dog, now named Cindy in my honor, but it's not an ideal situation for Art or the puppy. After lunch we're bringing back some dog food and then getting back on the trail. We we're hoping that trail angel Roger was in the market for a dog, or knew someone who was. Art lives in Mojave behind th McDonalds next to the Best Western Motel. He's a sweet man with a good heart, but not many resources. If anyone reading this can help, just show up....at the very least, Art would love the company and could use some pet food.
